    Drive Line Questions for 8.8

Ok, so I have decided to go 8.8 in my YJ. I am unable to install a SYE at this time. And I think it ended up being 3 inches of lift. 2.5 RE, and .5 inch shackle.

Using the 8.8 flange attached to the end U-Joint, is the factory Drive line too short, too long, or will it fit?

Has any one considered using a front double U-Joint (unsure what to call it) on the T-Case side of the rear Drive Line? Possible issues other than too long? (I can have it shorten)

If you have seen this done, or done it, pix would be awesome.

With almost the exact same specs you are using, I had to shorten the driveshaft 1/2".

It's called a double cardan. No experience yet with your questions so I won't even try...

My stock driveshaft worked perfectly. 91 4.0 speed 2.5 lift. Been in there 4 years now.

When I had BDS 2" springs my stock driveshaft worked fine. When I upgraded to 3.5" springs the driveshaft was a little short. It did get me by for a year before I saved up the money for a SYE and a Tom Wood's shaft
