Is this Blow By ? Not Sure

I purchased my Jeep a few months back from a private sale (1980 cj7). The PO said the engine had a rebuild with about 10k miles on it. He said the engine ( a 4.2l straight 6 ) came from a scrambler ( 82 - 87). Everything was fine for the first 2 months. Then I started noticing oil on my garage floor. I open the hood and I notice one of the PVC valves popped off. Oil was all over the valve cover. So naturally I put it back. It kept popping off. Finally i put some silicone on it to hold it in place. Then I noticed more oil a few days later. I pop the hood and the Oil Filler Cap was gone. Again Oil everywhere. I replace the cap (it is a push in like a gromet fit ). It seems there is so much pressure that oil is making its way out the oil filler cap and running all over the engine. A neighbor told me I should replace the valve cover, gasket, gromets ect......... Any advice would be welcome

Start by putting a new pcv valve in it, and make sure the hose is not kinked or blocked and is routed correctly for your vehicle.
The other PCV hose should have some sort of filter covering the end and needs to be clear so the system can operate properly.

hmm. I would start by changing the pcv valve as well. may not be seating very firmly. but with that much oil it sounds like there is some pressure behind it which could be blow by. How does the oil look? With only 10k miles it shouldnt be having any problems. how does it run?
