Intuitive ways to attach you hardtop
I am trying to find a better way to attach my hardtop other than screws. I saw on another post where they used latches to attach the window frame to the top and I like the way they did this. What I would like to see is ways that you attached the rest of the top. I have a fiberglass body so I can not just buy the kit. Also I dont think there is enough of a lip to get the clamp underneath along the sides. Pictures would be great. I will try to get pictures of my jeep this afternoon. Thanks for any ideas.

ACME hardtops (usually on CJ-8s) frequently used clamps all the way down the side, but the factory bolt/threaded plate method for the side rails is excellent. In the situation where you are using a glass tub, you could make one long threaded plate and glue it to the underside of the rail to spread out the load to reduce the likelihood of cracking.
