What exhaust system would you recommend for the i6?

I am looking for a exhaust for a 92 Renegade. Which one would be more agressive. The flowmaster or Masterflow?

i never heard of masterflow, but as far as jeep exhaust is concerned the only way to make it "aggressive" is to eliminate that tail pipe. all your exhaust tone is lost by that bend up and down in the tail pipe where it goes over your diff. get a flowmaster or whatever your into, and put a turn down tip on it. if you really want performance and not just a louder jeep, throw a pacesetter header on it and run the whole exhaust with 3" pipe, and get a new cat.

If you can aford it, borla is hard to beat in sound and quality. Not too loud or raspy, just a deep rumble, the sound of power.

Flowmaster has allways been my first choice. I had a complete Borla on one YJ, and I was very happy with it allso though. You can't go wrong either way though.

I have a Borla header and Thrush Welded muffler (practically the same as the Flowmaster 40, but cheaper) and it has a nice deep tone to it while giving it a bit better performance.

Cherry Bomb Pro, sounds great on a 4.2 with a carb, Or any muscle car with a carb !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just like a Flowmaster, but alot cheaper, and still made in the USA, or a cheap *** CHINA MADE THRUSH WELDED MUFFLER WOULD DO THE TRICK, IF YOU LIKE TO SUPPORT THE CHINA THING.

I would go CHEAP, there is little reason to dump $500 into an exhaust system for a jeep. The return on investment just isnt there.

I have a flowmaster system that I built myself. It sounds good my only complaint is that it is a little loud. Good sounding exhaust is great but if it is too loud it wears on you over time. I would go with something that sounds good but is not the loudest. This is what I expect from the borla system. I am probably going to add a resonator to my system to quiet it down a bit.
