Finally got a locker!!!!! Now I have a severe vibration

Had my new lock right locker installed tuesday, as well as a live axle conversion. Now I have a severe vibration. I checked the front u-joints, and they were in need of replacement. I took the driveshaft out till I could get the u-joints put in, and the roaring and vibrating stopped, of course. Put the new joints in, and......it still roars and vibrates. I drove it to work this morning, got out and slid under it and felt the joints, they were cool, felt the transfer case, slightly warmer than ambient temp, felt the front chunk and it was pretty warm. I don't mean HOT, just pretty warm.

I know when I put the live axle in with the locker, everything spins. I asked a couple of mechanics, and they all said about the same thing, ring and pinion. But I don't understand how it could be the ring and pinion. If it roars with the driveshaft in, shouldn't it vibrate with it out??? It's all still turning...

Where do I need to look???

Get your front drive shaft balanced.

Sounds like a front drive shaft problem
check the slip in the front drive shaft for play by grabing the driveshaft the yoke and trying to wiggle it

plus the front drive shaft does not come balanced in the yj because with the vac disconect design the driveshaft only spins when in 4wd NOT 2wd. Now by adding the locker and live axle, the front drive shaft is spinning in 2wd

I felt a small vibe at HWY speeds when the Aussie went into my YJ, but when the slip joint went bad in the ds, it was terrible, couldn't even hit HWY speeds.
