    Jeep Dies

Have a 89 Jeep Wrangler YJ that dies all of a sudden. One day it wont have a dieing problem then the next day it will do it all day . Have replaced the distributor pickup coil , outer coil , replaced all the fuseible links , repaired several bad wires , has a new carb , and a relay box thats mounted on firewall as well .New electric fuel pump , replaced because I thought old electric one was at fault . Does have fuel regulaor , set to carb manufactures specs . Any one have any suggestions ?

Try a new (another) condenser. Cheap and quick fix.

Sometimes the "new" ones are also bad. China probably.

This sort of thing happened to me....more grey hair until I was told to do this.
    No more problem.

Had a similar problem, chased it down to the old Ford type coil connector.

When mine was doing that, it turned out to be the ignition module.

Another thing to check is plug gap, make sure they are at .035, it does not cost anything. Too much gap will tax the coil.
